The Role: Clario is partnering with in-house legal teams and is hiring Legal Operations Specialists to join our team! This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of legal, process, and strategy, has their finger on the pulse of the latest technology trends, and is passionate about helping legal teams operate at their best.
You Will Be Embedded In Fast-paced, High-functioning Legal Departments Undergoing Technology And Process Transformation Projects. As a Trusted Legal Ops Advisor, You’ll Work Closely With Legal Leadership And Cross-functional Teams To
- Diagnose bottlenecks, inefficiencies and outdated processes within the legal department and their engagement with the broader business
- Optimise workflows, tools, and systems across the legal function
- Drive efficiencies in contract lifecycle management, matter management, and reporting
- Contribute to change initiatives and help build out scalable legal processes
- Partner with lawyers and business stakeholders to improve ways of working
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with the General Counsel, legal team, executive leaders and internal business units to identify key areas of improvement
- Conduct deep research into the legal technology solutions available and provide recommendations based on the business’s needs, budget and long-term goals
- Lead (alongside the General Counsel) the procurement of technology platforms, including the development of internal business cases, internal training, implementation and develop metrics to drive adoption
- Develop change management strategies, conduct training and implement frameworks to increase adoption of the legal team and internal stakeholders.
About You:
You May Come From a Legal Operations Background, Or Bring Legal Project Management, Paralegal, Or In-house Legal Experience With a Flair For Systems And Structure. You’ll Likely Bring
- Experience in legal operations, project delivery, or process improvement
- Familiarity with tools like CLM platforms, eBilling or legal technology systems
- A curiosity toward legal innovation and a deep understanding of legal technology systems and capabilities
- A collaborative, proactive, and solutions-focused mindset
- Strong communication skills and a commercial lens
- A proactive and positive attitude
